- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I use the USPS a LOT...shipping and receiving both domestic and international. I hear horror stories from my friends and clients but can say without a doubt Kelly and his crew are 5 star. They above and beyond on a daily basis for me and when something does go wrong they are right on it. I have even had live birds shipped to me at different times of the year and have never had one fatality. La Grande is a credit to the USPS Just an update. I sit here 8 hours a day 5 days a week and deal with the USPS all over the country and internationally. This is still the best post office...with the best employees I've ever dealt with. Do stuff go wrong..of course. But it's EXTREMELY rare that the fault is with the La Grande PO. I can't fathom why anyone would call one of their employees a "douche". People are new hires....and it takes a long time to learn everything. This is a complex , stressful job. Try to be nice. Maybe they will do better. ;)By Lorraine Kay, May 15, 2017
